Adding Serviced Apartments to the Jolly Coopers

The Additions of 4 Serviced Apartments

Adding the Serviced Apartments, Aps@no.16, to the Jolly Coopers and Squiffy’s portfolio is the final piece of the puzzle and completes the building in serving the public as best she can.

The spacious luxury apartments have been a long time in the making with an eight-year planning wait and then another year on terms and conditions and of course the minor issue of a pandemic. We started four years ago actually building, Jolly Cottage for Nick Jane & Kal the dog to live in which has ended up with the addition of Bill (temporarily) and Sassy Pants the Jack Russell now joining the party.

We moved on to the Main building and whilst in lockdown took the opportunity to upgrade the Squiffy’s kitchen and give Vinny the Naughty Chef an eight-burner stove to drive, with that came new extraction and kitchen equipment, flooring and all, and by putting in some big bi-folding doors to the Patio area we can open up Squiffy’s during any nice weather.

Whilst the state of the building was always suspected to be slightly in need of repair until we started we didn’t really know quite how bad it was. But the main goal of saving the building and prolonging its life as a community pub was always the aim and despite nervous breakdowns, financial ruin and hair loss we ploughed on. Alan Woodland, Muz, Tony, Junior & Baz have done an amazing job of retaining the buildings integrity, but making her safe. Gary has decorated her in paint from RV Tass of East Twickenham (top service from these guys) and Jane’s interior design skills have been pushed to the max.

But after all that, here we are with some great local accommodation, in touching distance of the Thames, Bushy Park Hampton Court, Kingston, with great transport links to London, and the country. Sandown Park & Kempton Racecourses, Twickenham Rugby Stadium, Kew Gardens, and the Royal Parks to mention a bare few places.
